Code of ethics of Dortisimo.cz s.r.o

I. Preamble – The company's core values and the goal of the code of ethics

The core values of Dortisimo.cz s.r.o. include mutual respect, trust, respect, decency, the creation of positive interpersonal relationships and adherence to high principles of professionalism, in relation to employees, customers, business partners, suppliers, investors and the public. The company's management is fully aware of its social responsibility and declares that it will follow these values and moral standards in decision-making processes, and also obliges its employees to comply with them in their daily activities.

The aim of this Code of Ethics is to achieve:

  • in relation to employees a positive working environment with a friendly atmosphere and with zero tolerance of any form of discrimination with regard to the support of the personal and professional development of our employees;
  • in relation to customers and business partners of long-term partnerships based on mutual trust, respect and professionalism;
  • in relation to the public, strengthening and maintaining the good name and reputation of a socially responsible company aiming at the sustainable development of the confectionery industry

II. Company principles in relation to employee protection

Dortisimo.czs.ro declares that it will apply the following principles in relation to the protection of employees:

  • equal access to all employees regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion or ideology, disability, age or sexual identity;
  • zero tolerance to any form of harassment, humiliation, sexual coercion or intimidation;
  • employees' right to human dignity, privacy and personality protection;
  • emphasis on creating a welcoming and dignified working environment based on positive interpersonal relationships, a friendly atmosphere and mutual trust;
  • support for further professional and personal development of employees.

III. Standards of employee conduct

Senior employees are a model of moral and ethical values for other employees and are responsible for compliance with the Code of Ethics for subordinate employees. Dortisimo.cz s.r.o. requires its employees to adhere to the following principles of behavior:

In the field of interpersonal relations:

  • We respect human rights and fundamental freedoms, especially the right to life and health, the inviolability of a person and his privacy, the right to preserve human dignity, personal honor and good reputation, freedom of thought, religion and expression.
  • We respect freedom of speech and apply the principles of collegiality and cooperation in our actions.
  • We respect each other and respect our colleagues.
  • We adhere to the general principles of decency, good manners and honest behavior.
  • Any critical suggestions towards co-workers are submitted factually, correctly and based on objective data.
  • We maintain an equal approach to other employees and other persons with whom we come into contact in the course of our work duties at all times, regardless of their race, ethnic origin, gender, nationality, religion or ideology, disability, age or sexual identity.
  • We note that any form of harassment, humiliation, sexual pressure, intimidation, whether physical or verbal, is absolutely unacceptable.

In the area of compliance with legal regulations and other binding standards:

  • In all areas of our work, we comply with generally binding legal regulations (laws, decrees, regulations, etc.), as well as all internal company regulations and employer regulations.
  • We take a position of zero tolerance for the commission of any criminal activity, not only when it is committed on behalf of or for the benefit of Dortisimo.cz s.r.o., but also towards third parties.
  • As part of the fulfillment of daily work duties, we take care to protect the legitimate interests of the employer.
  • We are committed to the principles of sustainability and comply with regulations to protect occupational safety, health and the environment.
  • In accordance with internal regulations, we protect all tangible and intangible assets of the company from deterioration, especially from damage, theft, waste or misuse.

In the area of conflict of interest:

  • We take a position of impartiality in our decision-making and support fair competition. We try to prevent anyone from abusing their position to gain an unauthorized advantage.
  • We try to avoid situations that would give the impression of a conflict of interest.
  • We immediately inform the employer of all non-work activities and relationships that could be considered a conflict of interest (other gainful activity, private activities including political functions, etc.).
  • We accept and give gifts and small favors with care only provided that they are judged to be appropriate in the given case. In case of doubt, we contact the relevant superior department.

In the area of communication with the media and the public:

  • We maintain loyalty to the company, protect the good name and reputation of the employer.
  • We only make statements to the media if we are authorized to do so. We forward any questions from the media to the relevant press department or an authorized person.
  • When communicating on social networks from a private profile, we do not speak on behalf of the company and do not share internal information of the company or its business partners.

This Code of Ethics is binding for all employees of Dortisimo.cz s.r.o. Employee behavior that is in direct conflict with this Code of Ethics may be considered a serious violation of work duties and labor law consequences will be drawn from it.
