Welcome back my lovelies. More than a year has passed since my first book, the cookbook We cook heavenly. It was really an intense year for me, during which I experienced many life changes and found myself. Through work and dreams, I realized what I really want.


During this time, I managed to teach many courses in baking and classic cooking, I attended cooking shows, I experienced meetings with you readers, and after all this, I only confirmed that the follow-up book Pečeme nevesky must see the light of day. Now that you are reading these lines and holding my second dream book in your hands, believe me it means a lot to me. It is one thing to talk about something and another to prove it. Moreover, it is a book that represents what I love most of all - sweet.

Through the selected recipes, I want to reveal to you how sweet I perceive it to be and how much I wish you could see it as well. Sometimes confectionery can be a real alchemy, sometimes it's easier than scrambled eggs. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, we can probably all agree on one thing. We all like the feeling when it just works out. The feeling that the time spent in the kitchen was not wasted and that the ingredients, efforts and everything around it were not wasted. This is precisely why we like to rely on recipes when baking, knowing that they will lead us to a successful goal. I often get stuck at this point too. Baking books are often pretty, but they don't always work. And that is the biggest challenge for me, so that every recipe is one that you will succeed in and you will be happy to leaf through the next one. I would like Pečeme nevesky to be a part of your free moments, when you have time, well-being and the desire to sweetly relax. I would like you to enjoy the progress you will make and be the one to prepare a beautiful cake for any celebration.

In my pastry classes, I often hear a lot of random questions about baking, and most of them are repeated, which is great for me because it lets me know what really bothers you, interests you, and which parts of the process are critical for many of you. I hope that I will answer everything for you in this book and that you will overcome difficulties easily and without difficulties. You can find a very detailed procedure in the unique subsection Masterclass. It is a simple description of my entire 5-hour course in detail, both in words and in pictures.

I divided the book into 3 main chapters: Simple Heavenly Baking, Duels and Cakes. In the first chapter, I will show you that absolutely everyone can start baking, it contains simple desserts, global staples and popular Czech classics that we know from our grandmothers. With my procedure, you can handle everything with ease and in the left rear. Chapter Two - Duels features a set of visually similar desserts that I have pitted against each other in an imaginary dueling duel, and it's up to you to decide who is the winner. Are you in the mood and time for the French macaron classic? Or would you prefer a fast food served with lovelies? It's up to you! The third chapter - Cakes reveals the secrets of everything a confectionary enthusiast should know about tall sponges and cakes. Various combinations and styles of bodies in designs that may sometimes even surprise you.

The original idea for the template for this book came about a long time ago. I think it was about 15 years ago, when I still called her in English "Besky bites", loosely translated as "Beskyné kousky". It's funny how fast time flies and everything changes dynamically, and in the end, true, fateful plans and dreams stay with us until they come true. So dream for a while with me, taste heaven on earth again and let it bake! :-)
