Preparation: Process 500 g of the mixture, 215 ml of water and 65 ml (55 g) of vegetable oil using a mixer with a dough hook for 5 minutes. Roll out the dough to a thickness of approx. 5 mm. Cut out the doughnuts and let rest for 25 minutes. Preheat the deep fryer to 180°C or the oven to 200°C (fan oven to 180°C).
Deep fryer: Fry the donuts for about 90 seconds on each side until golden brown.
Oven: Place the doughnuts in a doughnut pan and bake for about 12 minutes until golden brown. Brush the doughnuts with melted butter and decorate as desired.
